Privacy policy
This policy describes how Preterist Sources (operated by KMF Labs) handles information when you sign in with Facebook and use the research desk.
Who we are
Preterist Sources, Preterist Library, and Covenant Sources are branded research desks for verified quotations. The service is provided by KMF Labs.
What we collect
When you sign in with Facebook Login we receive your Facebook user ID (and the public_profile scope Facebook provides for Login). We store that ID with your signed session cookie, optional allowlist or subscription tier, and monthly usage counters needed to enforce free/supporter/patron limits. We also process the search queries and citation interactions you perform while signed in. We do not ask Facebook for your email, friends list, or posts.
How we use it
We use your Facebook user ID only to authenticate you, keep you signed in, apply subscription entitlements, and operate the desk (search, Contour Reconstruction within publisher caps, and related account features). Platform API calls are attributed to our tenant service principal, not published as your Facebook identity in product UI.
Facebook Login
Facebook Login is used solely for sign-in. You can remove Preterist Sources from Facebook under Settings → Apps and Websites. That stops future Facebook authorization; see Delete your data for removing records we store.
Retention
Session cookies expire on a short TTL. Account and subscription records tied to your Facebook user ID are kept while your account is active. After a verified deletion request we remove or anonymize those records as described on the data deletion page.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We use infrastructure providers (for example cloud hosting) under contract to run the service. Corpus excerpts shown in the product are publisher content subject to their rights, not your personal data.
Your choices
You may sign out at any time, remove the app in Facebook, and request deletion of data we store about your Facebook user ID. Instructions: Delete your data.
